August 2000 – June 2003 - ENGINEERING MANAGER - Group Four, Inc.

Involved in the development of industrial designed consumer goods from concepts to manufacturable products. Participate in initial customer meetings to discuss technical capabilities, proposal preparation, scheduling, resource and budgetary allocations. Coordinated various development activities with ID, Engineering, external tooling, manufacturing vendors and our clients. Using Pro/ENGINEER as the primary engineering tool, products were developed from a wide range of design input. Input included rough sketches, foam models, 2D drawings, IGES and DXF data and verbal communications. Product included hand held power tools and consumer products.

March 1997 – August 2000 - ENGINEERING MANAGER - Anderson Design, Inc

Involved in the development of industrial designed products including consumer products, computer equipment, medical devices and transportation vehicles

May 1994 – March 1997 - SENIOR APPLICATION ENGINEER - Micro Engineering Solutions.

Lead engineer for the Engineering Services Group. Conducted pre-sales demonstrations of Pro/ENGINNER CAD Software. Consulted with customers, to determine most efficient CAD modeling techniques. Taught basic and advanced modeling classes for Pro/ENGINEER software.

August 1991 – May 1994 - SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER - United States Surgical Corp.

Responsible for design and development of hand held surgical instruments from concept to production. Design considerations included cost reduction, assemble-ability and manufacturability. Also involved in product testing and evaluations. Interacted closely with QC, Metrology, Machine Shop and external venders.

August 1985 – August 1991 - STAFF DESIGNER - Dataproducts Corp.

Involved in the design and development of non-impact ink jet printers. Responsible for the design of print head components, test fixtures, evaluating print quality on various forms of media, disposable ink cartridges, and automated packaging equipment for liquid ink.
